Ok, so I confess, I am an Instagram-oholic!
I have uploaded almost 3,000 photos to my Instagram account since I created it a couple of years ago. But every now and then I realise that a photo I shared on Instagram, I never actually kept a copy of. Some of these have been my favourites!
Then I discovered Origrami, a husband and wife based team operating out of Sydney, Australia.
Simply visit their website HERE, sign into your account, select the pictures you'd like to print and hit order! Easy!!
One of the other really cool features is that you can opt (at no extra cost) to have the details printed on the back of the picture. For example, this picture below has a caption that reads 'Guess what just fell out? #firsttooth'.
The picture on the reverse is of my little girl holding her first tooth that fell out! What a fantastic way to remember the names of people, places and events in years to come!
You can even upload old photos to your Instagram account solely for the purpose of ordering prints of them. For example, the bottom left picture is of my mother, holding me at my second birthday party. Looks just like an original Polaroid from back in the day! Bottom right is my sister and I at her wedding when I was 16 years old and the top one is me at my wedding with my nieces in 2001.
But lets talk for a second about the insanely cool little storage boxes that they come in! I would order prints just to get my hands on some of these little gems!
There are three different styles of print to choose from. There are Maxprint, Retroprint and Squareprint. I order the Retroprint, a Polaroid-Style pic, because I love the nostalgic feel they have.
The best part is you can order 36 prints, in one of these insanely cute little boxes, for just $21, and that includes free worldwide delivery too! The only problem with these prints is deciding which way you're going to display them in your home or office! Check out the hashtag #origrami on Instagram to get some really cool display ideas!
I purchased a HUGE canvas and painted it the same colour as my hallway wall so that it would blend in and the pictures would stand out. Then I tied string around the frame and tried to space it out evenly and then attached the pictures with tiny little craft pegs! This way I can swap and change the pictures that I display whenever I want to!
Check out my display below!
