My daughter Lily-Rose's Birthday was in October, but you know what they say, when you work in a particular field, sometimes you are so busy focusing on your clients jobs that you have to put your own to the side! Like the mechanic who never fixes his own car!
Well here it is, better late than never, some images from my little girls sweet 7th birthday!
One of the perks of having a studio in the house! We set up a Frozen themed photo booth!
Balloons from the wonderful Lets Celebrate Parties!
Curtains I made myself with some material I purchased at Spotlight!
Elsa was a big hit! The girls loved her!

The amazing Anna cake and cookie wands were made by my friend Amy from Cakes for Kids! I made the cake pops, jelly cups and the chocolate pyramids, and sourced various blue and white sweets from different sweet shops! We had marshmallows, milk bottles, blue clouds, fizzers, jelly beans and blue and white chocolate freckles!
Kids parties can be expensive, so I try and cut costs where I can and make things myself or visit local $2 shops! The tassel garland, fan garland and the tissue paper poms are all from the Reject Shop! They are usually about $2 a pack! Plastic cups I sourced from Coles and the drink and lolly buffet containers I borrowed from my lovely friend Katie who no longer runs her party business but definitely should because she's amazing!
Elsa is multi talented! She played pass the parcel with the kids and every child won a prize, then she danced and sang with the girls and made them balloon animals before painting all of their faces!
These printable snow men are available online.
You just print out one for each child and let them make their own Olaf!
We also used one of them to play pin the nose on Olaf! I simply cut out a bunch of carrot looking noses from an orange sheet of cardboard and wrote each childs' name on one!
Now I know that all of my friends laugh at me for this, but at my kids parties I always serve mini franks, tempura batter nuggets and hot chips! I avoid party pies, sausage rolls and anything crumbed, and it saves me about two hours worth of cleaning up crumbs afterwards! he he!
My sweet 7 year old Birthday girl!
We purchased some 'snow' from Polymer Innovations online. Click here to check it out! The kids simply put the granules in a tub and add water and stir. In a few minutes you end up with amazing soft and fluffy white snow that the kids will love! We made the snow outdoors for obvious reasons!
I'm sorry, I have to say it ...
Let it go, let it go, can't hold it back anymore ...
Every child went home with a party bag they had filled from the candy buffet and a cookie wand! A big thanks to all of Lily-Rose's little friends who made her day super special!
Thanks for stopping by!
